An exceptional cast will open a limited engagement of the World Premiere, 4 Clowns at the Art/Works Theatre for the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
4 Clowns is a physical, musical and emotional journey into what it means to be a human being. Follow four clowns who represent the four clown archetypes; the sad clown, the mischievous clown, the angry clown and the nervous clown as they get together to lament and reminisce about their past. As the old adage goes, ‘laughter is the best medicine’ but, laughter comes most earnestly when reflecting on past sorrows. As the clowns tell their tales of woe and elation from childhood to adulthood and beyond, we discover that really they are all the same, and so are we. Starring Alexis Jones as Sad Clown, Kevin Klein as Angry Clown, Amir Levi as Nervous Clown and Quincy Newton as Mischievous Clown. 4 Clowns begins a limited engagement on June 18 and runs through June 26. The five performances will be held on Friday, June 18 @ 8pm, Saturday, June 19 @ 2pm, Thursday, June 24 @ 8pm, Friday, June 25 @ 8pm and Saturday, June 26 @ 2pm.
